WHILE a great deal of interest will be focused north of the Murray River for the
second edition of The Everest, at Caulfield, a slew of internationals will be transforming Caulfield Guineas day.

“Part of the reason behind the increase in the prize money for the ($1 million) Caulfield Stakes last year was to lure international participation and obviously there are three races on the card that carry Caulfield Cup ballot exemption, so it is becoming a truly international race day,” said Melbourne Racing Club racing manager Jake Norton.
