AUSTRALIA (by Galileo), the dual Derby winning son of the dual Oaks heroine Ouija Board (by Cape Cross), will commence his stallion career at Coolmore Stud in the spring, news that appeared on Twitter early in the week. Today details were revealed of the infection that has ruled him out of any further appearances on the track.

Australia won five of his eight starts, and in addition to his pair of classic victories, he won the Group 1 Juddmonte International Stakes and the Group 3 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Trial Stakes, he was third in this year's exceptional edition of the Group 1 2000 Guineas, and then narrowly beaten by The Grey Gatsby in the Group 1 Irish Champion Stakes on his final start.

War Command (by War Front), who is out of the Grade 2 E P Taylor Stakes winner Wandering Star (by Red Ransom), is also being added to the roster at Coolmore.

The grandson of Danzig won the Group 1 Dewhurst Stakes, Group 2 Futurity Stakes, and Group 2 Coventry Stakes, and he was third in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes, all as a juvenile.
