AMANDA Skiffington was one of the busiest agents of the week in Arqana, and she made six purchases for over €2.3 million. She was accompanied by owner Fiona Carmichael who enjoyed a French Group 1 win last year when Intellogent annexed the Prix Jean Prat. Juddmonte sires Kingman and Frankel were high on the list of must-have stallions for the pair.

Kingman’s son of a winning full-sister to Group 2 winner Pomology topped the agent’s buying list, selling from Ecurie des Monceaux for €850,000 and crediting the farm with selling the top three lots of the week. Skiffington’s second purchase by Kingman was a half-brother to Group 1-placed sprinter Goken sold from Haras de Colleville. He cost €675,000 and they were the best two prices among the 11 yearlings sold by the Juddmonte stallion who averaged over €355,000.
