WICKLOW’s Ballyhenry Polo Grounds opened their gates for the first time this year for the Stolen Spurs Cup, Shipping Cup and Friends and Family Trophy.

In the Stolen Spurs Four Goal Cup, Eamon Laverty was joined by his son Dan, Keelen McCarthy and Brad Rainford-Blackett for Tyrone to take on the Keelings/LHK team of Caroline Keeling, Colm Kelleher, Siobhan Herbst and Michael Connolly. Tensions were high, with close marking meaning both teams were struggling to score, leaving it 4-4 going into day two.
