LAST Sunday saw the second leg of the AIRC South East Regional Dressage League take place, hosted by Treegrove Riding Club at the fantastic facilities of Danville House Farm in Co Kilkenny. Despite a cold snowy start, it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day, making it perfect for some great dressage action.

The day began with the primary class which saw Martin Carroll riding Ardlea Indian Lady (Coole Lane RC) take first place, while host club member George Stallard riding Clavalia took second. In the advanced primary class, Lisa Rothwell riding Thy Will Be Dun continued Coole Lane’s winning streak by earning first place, with Anne Clune riding Ragazza Bella (Carne RC) and Caroline Kelly with her mount Myshall Lester (Barrow Valley RC) sharing second. Treegrove’s own Elaine Lynch on I Go Hugo took fourth, while Valerie Crean riding Kildoon Trix (Barrow Valley RC) came in fifth position. Penny Molloy and Temple Princess Phoebe from Waterford Riding Club secured sixth.
