TAKING place on the Saturday of the 2019 Cavan Indoor Championships, the six and seven-year-old Hankook Final went down to the wire. Taking the win was Olivia Roulston riding Miss Valent. This seven-year-old mare, owned and bred by Lisa Rosbotham, is by Valent (KWPN) out of the John Henry-sired dam Miss Siss (ISH). Oliva, winner of the 2019 RDS Bursary, has been based with Woods Rosbotham since 2017 where she is trained by Lisa. Miss Valent now has a series of impressive results recorded, including victory in the six and seven-year-old Dengie Championship at Balmoral this year. Roulston partnered the talented mare, then a five-year-old, to a win in the 2017 championship at Cavan.

Taking the runner-up spot was Natasha Carolan riding NKC Sporthorses-owned Halina HL. Bred by A.L.J. Hendriks, this seven-year-old mare KWPN mare is by Dexter R out of the Mermus R-sired dam Zalina H.
