THE second leg of the North East Region’s autumn dressage league at Jordanstown, which is being sponsored by Whites Agri, was organised last Saturday by Castle Hill who, just two weeks previously, held a riding club working hunter show at their Julianstown base.

Only one combination managed to record a win at both events and that was Kilronan’s Louise Somers riding Indian Mist. At the first competition, which ended up being held indoors due to the bad weather, Somers and her Irish Draught gelding won the novice performance hunter class while, on Saturday, their ‘double’ came up in the Advanced Intermediate section.
