TIM MacDonagh won his first Underwriting Exchange National Grand Prix title of the year in Mullingar last Sunday. Riding his mother Jackie’s nine-year-old gelding Hollypark Galloway, MacDonagh saw off stiff competition in the nine-way jump-off to secure the victory. This duo have been very consistent in the New Heights Champions Series this year; winning the round in Omagh at the start of July and earning top-six placings in the subsequent three rounds in Balmoral, Tattersalls and Maryville.

Speaking after the win, MacDonagh said: “We are really pleased with how Hollypark Galloway is going. We have been together for so long now that I know him inside out at this stage and he knows me.
