RIDERS battled it out in Sunday’s 1.40m SJI Autumn Grand Prix at Portmore and taking the win was Jenny Rankin. Riding Diarado’s Flying Dutchman, Rankin delivered the only double clear in the seven-way jump-off in a time of 45.41.
Owned by Ronnoco Jump Ltd and bred by Hilke Bogena, the nine-year-old German-bred gelding is by Diarado out of the Landadel-sired dam Hauptstutbuch. Rankin has only returned from a successful trip to Europe, where she competed at Kronenberg CSI2* and Opglabbeek CSI2*. This is the combination’s second show on home soil having also competed in the round at Portmore.
