THE clash with Easter resulted in a small entry for last Saturday’s first leg of the Cheval dressage league at Jordanstown which had been delayed by three weeks because of the weather.

New Cheval member Sarah Cashin found herself with a job for the day as she was scribe to Mairin Cassidy who judged the seven classes which were open to all. Thankfully, competitors on day one enjoyed a dry day and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
