HOME-BRED lines shone at Clarecastle where, as the agricultural show season draws to a close, there was a great ringside atmosphere during its two feature showing events.

The first centre stage event was the lucrative Banner Broodmare Championship. Its €3,000 prize fund is one incentive and another attraction is the stallion nomination draw.
