A BUSY Horse Show week ahead as a steward wasn’t going to deter Rachel Bennett from judging at the second of the Irish Shows Association finals last Monday, and the second of the weekend’s All Ireland two-year-old champions was Daphne Tierney’s Bloomfield Distinction.

“I’ve got a soft spot for this show, I love coming to Tinahely just to attend this show,” said Rachel, who was judging with Thomas Conlon, from Swinford. Making his third All Ireland judging appearance, he also had a packed week ahead with his Dublin entries, including his Balmoral filly and reserve supreme, Lisbrogan Gold.
