AIDAN O’Brien is represented by a team of four runners at the big Arlington meeting in Chicago tonight with Deauville representing him in the 36th running of the Arlington Million. The colt finished third in the race 12 months ago.

Aidan O’Brien runs two in the Grade 1 Secretariat Stakes: Hunting Horn and Lucius Tiberius.

There will be five Irish-trained runners in the race with Michael Halford represented by Gallinule Stakes winner Platinum Warrior in the Grade 1 Secretariat the mount of Joel Rosario, Dermot Weld sends Bandua who also finished behind Latrobe in the Irish Derby and Ming, a winner at Navan and Gowran Park, will represent Joseph O’Brien with Billy Lee on board.

Chad Brown again provides the main US opposition in the form of Anaylze It, just beaten a head in the Grade 1 Belmont Derby last time, with Hunting Horn in third.

Athena, already a Grade 1 winner stateside this year will run in the Beverly D. Turf specialist Chad Brown is responsible for four runners in the fillies’ Grade 1 including recent Saratoga Grade 1 winner Sistercharlie.

Mark Johnston sends over German 1000 Guineas winner Nyaleti, who will be ridden by Silvestre de Sousa.

The 36th Arlington Million is headed by last year’s Secretariat winner, Oscar Performance, trained by Brian Lynch. The Kitten’s Joy colt won his only start this season in a Grade 3 at Belmont.

The other two top US runners are both trained by Chad Brown, with Robert Bruce the more fancied. Brown also has a third entry in Shadwell runner Almanaar, a son of Dubawi.

There are two other European runners in Circus Couture, trained by Jane Chapple-Hyam and to be ridden by John Egan, and Simon Crisford’s Century Dream, who will be the mount of William Buick.
