Trainer Alan King will face the Disciplinary Panel of the British Horseracing Authority at an enquiry on Thursday to decided whether he has breached Rule (G)2.1 of the Rules of Racing after Yanworth tested positive for triamcinolone acetonide (TCA) aftr the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham.

TCA is a synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and analgesic action. The substance which may be legitimately used on horses in training but is a prohibited substance on raceday.

The Panel will also consider whether or not to take action under Rule (A)74.2 Ground 3 of the Rules of Racing in respect of the possible disqualification of the gelding.
