AS we approach high summer, Ballinrobe, Sligo and Downpatrick racecourses should be coming into their time of the year. The three tracks were set to host 29 fixtures between them this year, the majority of which take place in the summer months, but as it stands only one of those 29 fixtures will stay true to the schedule.

That was the March 22nd date at Downpatrick, their Randox Ulster National meeting, one of the 10 fixtures that took place behind closed doors prior to the stoppage of racing.
