Aidan O'Brien has drawn up running plans for some of his potential runners at Chester this week.
The Ballydoyle handler has a fine record on the Roodee and looks set to be represented by another small but select team at this year's May meeting, which begins on Wednesday.
Cliffs Of Moher and Venice Beach, both of whom are considered legitimate challengers for the Investec Derby at Epsom, are among the potential raiding party.
O'Brien said: "Cliffs Of Moher might go for the Dee Stakes, he's just ready to start.
"Venice Beach is in the Chester Vase, US Army Ranger may come over for the staying race (Ormonde Stakes) and Deauville might come back for the Huxley Stakes.
"There could be others as well, and we could have more than one in some of the races."
