THE Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) Premier Series, supported by Showjumping Ireland, is the leading show jumping series at national level in Ireland and this year the prize fund has been increased by €20,000 to €75,000.

Each leg will have a minimum prize fund of €15,000 including young rider prizes, grooms’ prizes, and breeders’ prizes. Along with the lucrative prize fund, the HSI Premier Series overall leading horse and rider combination will be crowned ‘Irish National Show Jumping Champions’ for 2021.

HSI recognises that the equestrian industry, like so many industries, has suffered because of the ongoing global pandemic and HSI are delighted to support show jumping in Ireland by providing not just top-level competition and prize money but also live streaming of this event.

Live streaming of all legs will allow the horse and rider combinations competing access to a global audience and with the support and help of Showjumping Ireland and the venues HSI can promote Ireland as the ‘Land of the Horse’.

All legs of the 2021 HSI Premier Series will be streamed live on Irish Sport TV and the HSI website – horsesportireland.ie.

The series kicked off last weekend at Barnadown in Co Wexford and was won by Sligo’s Kevin Gallagher, riding the Irish Sport Horse Ballypatrick Flamenco. The next leg will take place Sunday, May 23rd at Portmore.

HSI would like to wish all competitors a successful campaign.
