A CENTRE of Excellence for the sport horse industry is recommended in Reaching New Heights which would fulfill needs in the spheres of breeding, sport and coaching, although capital cost difficulties are acknowledged.

“The concept of developing a Centre of Excellence which would be a multi-disciplinary centre is a very sound fulcrum for the industry to revolve around. We do need to progress that recommendation and have developed a working group to look at it. We will carry out a feasibility study to assess the viability of such a project.
