As expected, trade livened up somewhat on day two of the Goffs November Foal Sale where the undoubted star turn was an €85,000 son of Dandy Man who more than captured the imagination of those in attendance.

Throughout the day Dandy Man’s appeal was repeatedly highlighted but the best was saved until last with this colt who was consigned by the Tipperary-based Glenspring Farm. The half-brother to a winner, whose dam can include the useful duo of Borders Bell and Flying Clarets among her siblings, was one of the last few lots to come under the hammer.
