I GREW up in our family home in Tipperary and I’m lucky enough to still live there. My parents Charles and Marjorie Mansergh were keen supporters of shows – my father had a winning herd of Hereford cattle and my mother bred and showed hunters in England between the wars.

I’m married to John Wallace and we have seven children: Patrick, Jane, Mark, Adrian, Serena, Esme and Avena. We live in Grenane House Stud which is run by my sons Adrian and Mark as a thoroughbred stud for producing and rearing horses for flat racing.
