WHILE few meetings feature hunt races these days, the Tynan & Armagh contest is nearly always well-filled and highly competitive and this spring was won for the second time in succession by Anseanachai Cliste.

Last year’s champion point-to-pointer won’t be appearing between the flags again anytime soon however as on Sunday the nine-year-old Bach gelding won a most exciting renewal of the Toals Bookmakers Ulster National at Downpatrick by a hard-fought head.
