Welcome returns

The Grand National will still always be the focus of someone seeking quick publicity of the negative kind. Last Saturday had many examples of the care and attention that the horses are given through the three days at Aintree, and none more so than the sight of 13 previous National winners all hale and hearty, returning to parade before the race including the winner of one of the most gruelling races of all time - the 2001 renewal won by Red Marauder, who was back to parade at the age of 25.
