A WINNING own-brother to Oscar Dan Dan could be the main highlight of the classy April Cheltenham National Hunt Sale to be conducted by Tattersalls Ireland, who took over these sales last autumn from Brightwells, the Leominster auctioneers who had been running the Ascot Sales since 2000.

At Cheltenham last April five horses were each sold for £80,000 or more and there have been several Grade 1 jumping stars coming out of this auction in the last few years, among them Moon Racer, O’Faolains Boy, Peddlers Cross, Realt Dubh, Wayward Prince and Minella Class.
