Article Date: 23-June-2011

The late King's Theatre (by Sadler's Wells), who stood at Ballylinch Stud, added yet another blacktype scorer to his name when Fubbs won the Listed Prix Sagan, a hurdle race for three-year-olds at Auteuil, this afternoon.

The filly is owned and bred by Mme Henri Devin and Mme Biden Ashbrooke and she is a half-sister to two multiple winning dual-purpose horses: Longueville Manor (by Tel Quel) and Villa Joyeuse (by Kahyasi).

The Group 1 winner, whose has sired pattern winners at all levels on the flat in addition to his string of Grade 1 stars under National Hunt rules, also had the first six-figure priced horse at today's Tattersalls (Ireland) Derby Sale in Fairyhouse. A three-year-old full-brother to the Grade 2 scorer Carrigmartin fetched €135,000.
