Second Grade 1 win for Scat Daddy filly

Lady Of Shamrock (by Scat Daddy), who represents the first crop of her sire, has won the Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks over 9f, her second win at the highest level. Last month she won the Grade 1 Hollywood Oaks over 10f.

The three-year-old was bred by Grovendale Sales, and she is trained by John Sadler. She is out of Blushing Issue (by Blushing John), who is a half-sister to the Grade 1 Hollywood Turf Cup Stakes winner Royal Chariot (by Strawberry Road), and her star daughter is her third blacktype winner. Lady Of Shamrock's siblings include a Grade 2 winning half-brother Smooth Jazz (by Storm Boot).

Scat Daddy (by Johannesburg) stands at Ashford Stud in Kentucky.
