Derrinstown Stud's freshman sire Tamayuz (by Nayef) got his seventh winner when The Gatling Boy took the 7f maiden at Salisbury this afternoon.
The colt is trained by Richard Hannon, he was bred by Sean Collins, and he is out of MIniver (by Mujtahid). That makes him a half-brother to several winners, including to the Group 3 placed, talented dual-purpose horse Mon Michel (by Montjeu).
His dam is a half-sister to the Group 1 Champion Stakes scorer Legal Case (by Alleged), and also to La Sky (by Law Society), who is the pattern placed dam of the Group 1 Oaks heroine Love Divine (by Diesis). That classic star is, of course, the dam of the Group 1 St Leger winner and successful freshman sire Sixties Icon (by Galileo).
