Group 3 success for Tullius

Group 2 placed dual listed scorer Tullius (by Le Vie Dei Colori) is now a pattern winner having taken the Group 3 totepool.com Sovereign Stakes over 1m at Salisbury.

The Andrew Balding trained four-year-old was bred by Scuderia Archi Romani, he cost just 20,000gns in Newmarket as a yearling, and he is out of the winning miler Whipped Queen (by Kingmambo). The mare's siblings include the Group 1 placed stakes winner Monsagem (by Nureyev), who was best at aroud a mile, and also the Grade 3 winning US miler Pie In Your Eye (by Spend A Buck).

Le Vie De Colori (by Efisio) stood at Rathbarry Stud, but died in 2008.
