Coolmore Stud's Group 1 star Duke Of Marmalade (by Danehill) got winner number five today when Asgardella made a winning debut over 7f at Ayr.
The Richard Fahey trained juvenile was bred by Ruskerne Ltd, and she is the second foal out of Peaceful Kingdom (by King Of Kings). The mare is an unraced half-sister to the Grade 1 scorer Magistretti (by Diesis), and she comes from the family of Damister.
Just over an hour later Throckmorton Court Stud's high-class sprinter Assertive (by Bold Edge) got his third winner when Spray Tan won the 5f nursery at Bath.
Lady Whent's homebred filly is trained by Tony Carroll, and she is the second foal out of Even Hotter (by Desert Style), who is a three-parts sister to the 7f stakes winner Ascot Family (by Desert Style). The grandam of today's winner is a full-sister to the smart sprinter Flanders (by Common Grounds).
