Irish Group 2 winner for Harlan's Holiday

My Special J's (by Harlan's Holiday) sprang a 12/1 surprise at The Curragh this afternoon with victory in the Group 2 Keeneland Debutante Stakes over 7f.

The Pat Shanahan trained juvenile was bred by Double Eagle Thoroughbreds, and she is a full-sister to a talented 9f US horse called The Program. Their dam Shadow On The Moon (by Deputy Minister) is a half-sister to the multiple pattern scorer Dalhart (by Forty Niner), and also to the dam of the Grade 1 winning miler Geri (by Theatrical). The grandam of today's winner is Far Flying (by Far North), who was a Grade 1 placed dual stakes winner.

Harlan's Holiday (by Harlan) stands at WinStar Farm in Kentucky.
