High class sprinter Inxile (by Fayruz) has notched up the tenth blacktype win of his career with victory in the Listed Abergwaun Stakes over 5f at Tipperary.
The seven-year-old was bred by Denis and Teresa Bergin, and he is trained by David Nicholls. He is a half-brother to the prolific pattern winning sprinter Tax Free (by Tagula), and his other siblings include full-brother Green Beret, who has earned around €150,000. Their dam Grandel (by Owington) was unraced.
Fayruz (by Song) spend his entire stallion career at Rossenara Stud, and he retired from active service in 2008.
