Moonlight Cloud (by Invincible Spirit) is now a dual winner of the Group 1 Prix Maurice de Gheest, over 6.5f, at Deauville, this time taking the prize by five lengths.
George Strawbridge's homebred four-year-old is trained by Freddie Head. She is a half-sister to the pattern placed, stakes winning middle-distance horse Cedar Mountain (by Galileo), and her dam Ventura (by Spectrum) is a winning daughter of the talented Wedding Bouquet (by Kings Lake). That mare, of course, was a half-sister to the Group 1 stars Generous (by Caerleon) and Imagine (by Sadler's Wells).
Invincible Spirit (by Green Desert) stands at the Irish National Stud.
