Kildangan Stud's Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Classic hero and freshman sire Raven's Pass (by Elusive Quality) notched up the fifth winner from his first crop when Steeler took the 7f maiden at Goodwood this afternoon.
This Mark Johnston trained juvenile was bred by Airlie Stud. He is a half-brother to the stakes placed middle-distance filly Doggerbank (by Oasis Dream), his dam Discreef Brief (by Darshaan) won the Group 2 Park Hill Stakes, and she is closely related to the Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks heroine Key Change.
