The Fugue (by Dansili) has shown a fine turn of foot to win the Group 1 Markel Insurance Nassau Stakes (British Champions Series) over 10f at Goodwood.
Lord Lloyd-Webber's homebred and classic placed filly is trained by John Gosden. She is the second foal out of Twyla Tharp (by Sadler's Wells), who was runner-up in the Group 2 Ribblesdale Stakes, and who is a half-sister to the Group 1 stars Summoner (by Inchinor) and Compton Admiral (by Suave Dancer).
Dansili (by Danehill) stands at Banstead Manor Stud.
