Saddler's Rock (by Sadler's Wells), who represents the final crop of his great sire, has won the Group 2 Artemis Goodwood Cup (British Champions Series) over 2m at Goodwood, his second win at that level.
The John Oxx trained four-year-old was bred by Rockfield Farm. He is a half-brother to the pattern placed triple listed scorer Allexina (by Barathea), and his dam Grecian Bride (by Groom Dancer) is an unraced half-sister to the Group 1 scorer Gamut (by Spectrum). This is also the family of Group 1 winners such as Golan, North Light and Sought Out.
