Bayrir (by Medicean) has won the Group 2 Prix Eugene Adam (Grand Prix de Maisons-Laffitte) over 10f in France, his third win from four starts and his second blacktype success.
H H the Aga Khan's homebred three-year-old is trained by Alain de Royer-Dupre. He is the second foal out of the 10.5f French winner Balankiya (by Darshaan), whose siblings include the Group 2 King Edward VII Stakes winner Balakheri (by Theatrical).
Medicean (by Machiavellian) stands at Cheveley Park Stud.
