Sparkling Portrait (by Excellent Art) has won the Listed Glasgow Stakes over 11f at Hamilton, his fourth win from eight starts.
The Richard Fahey trained three-year-old was bred by Dukes Stud & Overbury Stallions Ltd. He is the fifth foal out of Time Crystal (by Sadler's Wells) who is a winning daughter of the Group 3 Lancashire Oaks scorer State Crystal (by High Estate). The grandam is a half-sister to the classic placed mile Group 1 winner Crystal Music (by Nureyev), to the Group 3 scorers Dubai Success (by Sadler's Wells) and Solar Crystal (by Alzao), and also to the Group 1 Irish Derby third Tchaikovsky (by Sadler's Wells).
