Poet (by Pivotal) has won the Listed Calico Cat At Chrisbeekracing.com Stakes (registered as the Steventon Stakes) over 10f at Newbury, his fifth blacktype success.
The Clive Cox trained seven-year-old was bred by Meon Valley Stud. He is out of the stakes winner Hyabella (by Shirley Heights), his grandam is the classic placed Group 2 scorer Bella Colora (by Bellypha), and he comes from the family of Group 1 winners such as Colorspin, Opera House, Kayf Tara, Cezanne, Zee Zee Top and Izzi Top.
Pivotal (by Polar Falcon) stands at Cheveley Park Stud.
