Group 2 placed prolific sprint winner Hamish Mcgonagall (by Namid) has won the Listed John Smith's City Walls Stakes over 5f at York, his first blacktype success.
The seven-year-old is trained by Tim Easterby, and he was bred by J P Coggan and Whitsbury Manor Stud. He is the fourth foal out of Anatase (by Danehill), and his siblings include the pattern placed prolific Scandinavian winner Steelwolf (by Fraam).
Namid (by Indian Ridge) stands at Haras Des Faunes in France.
