Master Of War (by Compton Place) has won the Listed Rose Bowl Stakes - sponsored by Compton Beauchamp Estates Ltd over 6f at Newbury.
The Richard Hannon trained juvenile was bred by R J Cornelius, and he cost 28,000gns in Newmarket as a foal. He is the second foal out of Mamma Morton (by Elnadim), whose dam Gharam (by Green Dancer) was placed in the Group 1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (French 1000 Guineas), and he is a half-brother to the dual sprint winner Muaamara (by Bahamian Bounty).
Compton Place (by Indian Ridge) stands at Whitsbury Manor Stud.
