Mount Nelson (by Rock Of Gibraltar) got his first winner in Britain or Ireland when the William Muir trained Purr Along made a winning debut over 7f at Wolverhampton this afternoon.
The juvenile was bred by Moyns Park Estate and Stud Ltd, she is out of Purring (by Mountain Cat), and her siblings include the seven times scorer Jeer (by Selkirk) and the stakes placed Lady Francesca (by Montjeu). The mare is a half-sister to the Group 2 mile winner Ronda (by Bluebird).
Mount Nelson stands at Newsells Park Stud.
