Cavalryman (by Halling), a Group 1 winner three years ago, has notched up his fifth blacktype success. The Darley-bred six-year-old, who is trained by Saeed Bin Suroor, won the Listed Coral Marathon (registered as the Esher Stakes) over 2m at Sandown.
He is out of Silversword (by Highest Honor), his siblings include the pattern placed Finity (by Diesis), and his dam is a pattern placed full-sister to the stakes winning stayer Double Honour.
Halling (by Diesis) stands at Dalham Hall Stud.
