Pastorius (by Soldier Hollow) has won the Group 1 Sparda 143 Deutsches Derby over 12f at Hamburg, giving his sire a classic winner in his first crop.
The three-year-old is trained by Mario Hofer, and he was bred by Franz Prinz Von Auersperg and Florian Haffa. He is the third foal out of Princess Li (by Monsun), he is a half-brother to the pattern placed miler Point Blank (by Royal Dragon), and his third dam is the Group 2 ARAG Preis (German 1000 Guineas) winner Princess Nana (by Bellypha).
Soldier Hollow (by In The Wings) stands at Gestut Park Wiedingen.
