Second pattern success for Definightly

Article Date: 30-June-2012

Definightly (by Diktat) has won the Group 3 Woodies D.I.Y. Sapphire Stakes over 5f at The Curragh, adding to a pattern sprint he won in France in November 2010.

The Roger Charlton trained gelding is owned and bred by Simon Emmet and his daughter Rosalind Emmet. He is the second foal out of Perfect Night (by Danzig Connection), a 6-7f winner whose dam is a half-sister to the pattern winning stayer North Col (by Head For Heights).

Diktat (by Warning) stands at Dehesa De Milagro in Spain, where his first local crop are yearlings.
