City Image (by Elusive City) has maintained her unbeaten record with victory in the Listed ACD Projects Supporting The Animal Health Trust Empress Stakes over 6f at Newmarket.
The Richard Hannon trained juvenile was bred by Patrick Byrnes. She is the first foal out of the lightly raced dual 9f winner Photophore (by Clodovil), and as the mare is out of Multicolour Wave (by Rainbow Quest), today's winner could be described as being a three-parts sister to the Group 1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (French 1000 Guineas) heroine Elusive Wave (by Elusive City).
Elusive City (by Elusive Quality) stands at Haras d'Etreham.
