Italian blacktype double for Oratorio

Oratorio (by Danehill), who is at Coolmore Australia, notched up a stakes race double today in Italy.

Wedding Fair, who comes from his first European crop, won the Listed Premio Paolo Mezzanotte over 11f at San Siro. The five-year-old was bred by H Spooner, she is a €30,000 Goffs November Foal Sale graduate, and she is the first foal out of Theatrical Act (by Theatrical). She comes from the family of Royal Academy and Storm Cat.

Just over half an hour later Faciascura won the Group 3 Premio Maria Incisa Della Rochetta over 10f at the same venue. The three-year-old was bred by Azienda Agricola Francesca, and she is out of the pattern placed middle-distance filly Sunsemperchi (by Montjeu). Her dam is a half-sister to the Group 2 Lowther Stakes and Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes winner Best Terms (by Exceed And Excel), and she comes from the family of Time Charter.
