Newfangled (by New Approach) has confirmed her position as being one of the best two-year-old fillies seen out so far this year with victory today in the Group 3 Albany Stakes over 6f at Ascot.
The John Gosden trained bay was bred by Darley. She is the second foal out of Scarlet Ibis (by Machiavellian) who is, in turn, a daughter of the Group 1 scorer Flagbird (by Nureyev). Flagbird is also the grandam of the US Grade 1 scorer Little Belle (by A.P. Indy).
New Approach (by Galileo) stands at Dalham Hall Stud.
