Shantou gelding tops day two

Bobby O’Ryan signed for the top lot on day two of the Goffs Land Rover Sale (Thursday), a Shantou own brother to a dual winner out of the Listed hurdle placed Penny Fiction. The Adamsfield Stud consigned three year old sold for €35,000.

Another highlight today was the popular son of German sire Arcadio from Ballybrennan Stud who went to Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock Ltd for €33,000.  Margaret O’Toole, who signed for the top lot yesterday on behalf of Gordon Elliott Racing, today secured a son of Old Vic from Hawthorn Stables for €30,000.
