HRI announces resignation of ITM boss
Horse Racing Ireland announced the resignation of Michael O'Hagan, CEO of Irish Thoroughbred Marketing (ITM) and Director of Communications and International Affairs at HRI.
The suprise resignation of O'Hagan is effective immediately and was accepted by the board of HRI at their board meeting today (June 11th).
O'Hagan, who has been CEO of ITM since 2001, is leaving to pursue private business interests. He was only recently announced as HRI's new Director of Communications and International Affairs.
ITM's new general manager, Elaine Hatton, formerly a senior marketing executive with Glanbia, joins ITM next month.
