Winning debut for New Approach filly

Newfangled (by New Approach) has made a promising start to her career with an impressive win over 6f on her debut at Newmarket this afternoon.

The Darley bred juvenile is trained by John Gosden, she is the second foal out of the mile winner Scarlet Ibis (by Machiavellian) while her grandam is the Group 1 scorer Flagbird (by Nureyev). Flagbird is also the grandam of the Grade 1 Ashland Stakes winner Little Belle (by A P Indy).

New Approach (by Galileo) stands at Dalham Hall Stud.
