Penny's Picnic (by Kheleyf), whose first two starts have been won by 6 lengths and 12 lengths respectively, has maintained his unbeaten record with victory in the Listed Prix La Fleche over 5f at Maisons-Laffitte this afternoon.
The colt is trained by Didier Guillemin and he was bred by Francis Montauban. He is the first foal out of Zerky (by Kingmambo) who is a full-sister to the dual pattern winning miler Penny's Gold. His grandam Penny's Valentine (by Storm Cat) was third in the Group 2 Premio Regina Elena (Italian 1000 Guineas) and she is a daughter of the top class Mrs Penny (by Great Nephew).
Kheleyf (by Green Desert) stands at Dalham Hall Stud.
